QUICK LINK - Northwich River Weaver Festival 2012

The River Weaver Navigation Society was founded in 1997 and is dedicated to preserving, protecting and improving the River Weaver, from Winsford to its confluence with the Manchester Ship Canal.

Committee members regularly attend meetings with navigation authorities, local government departments, and other waterways organisations.

The River Weaver Navigation Society cares about:

People and Recreation - improving facilities for boaters, walkers, horse riders, cyclists and anglers.

History - preserving and protecting historical features; including locks, bridges and boatyards.

Wildlife - animals, birds, plants and trees all have their place in, on and around the river.
